Daizen is Premiership Player of the Month again

Daizen Maeda has been named the William Hill Premiership Player of the Month for the second consecutive season.

The 27-year-old forward has been in exceptional form throughout the campaign and has now been named Player of the Month for both February and March.

In the past month, he scored four goals in three Premiership matches, as well as a goal in the Scottish Cup win over Hibernian, with the most recent strikes coming last weekend in the 3-0 home win over Hearts.

And his double in that game brought his tally for the season to 30, which includes 15 league goals, making him the Premiership’s top goalscorer of the season to date.
