Dani Olmo is not thinking of leaving Barcelona despite his difficult situation

Since the start of this year, FC Barcelona have been engaged in an imbroglio that is still showing no signs of an impending solution, i.e., the registration issue of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.

As things stand, the two players are deregistered by La Liga following the passage of the 31st December deadline. The Catalans are expected to approach the CSD today to get a precautionary ruling for their registration after having failed to convince La Liga or RFEF to get them registered.

In such a scenario, Dani Olmo has the option in his contract to leave the Catalan club as a free agent. However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the midfielder is not even thinking about choosing such a course of action and is fully committed to FC Barcelona.

Olmo has continued to train normally despite the extraordinary circumstances he is facing, and his teammates and coaching staff are also impressed by his mental fortitude and attitude.

But naturally, he is also hoping that this situation is resolved as soon as possible and will hopefully also be able to play in the upcoming Spanish Super Cup after getting a ruling in his favor from CSD.

Meanwhile, he has also been receiving transfer interest from clubs across Europe, but he does not really want to listen to any offers.

The midfielder believes Barcelona will be able to solve this situation, as they have done in the past, and is thus not looking to leave the club that he made such a significant effort to join in the last summer window.

At that time, the Spaniard had also agreed to get registered only for the first six months, so that he could fit more easily into the club’s salary structure. Then he also accepted another change in his status as Barcelona were still not able to register him, and did so only when Andreas Christensen was injured.
