The Magpies booked their place in round four following a 3-1 win against League Two Bromley at St. James' Park last weekend, courtesy of goals from Lewis Miley, Anthony Gordon and William Osula.
Their reward is an away tie against Birmingham, who currently occupy top spot in League One, and it has been confirmed that the game against the Blues will take place on Saturday, 8th February, with kick-off at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park taking place at 5.45pm (GMT).
