They say that there is two certainties in life, those being death and taxes, well you can add another to the list and that is Derek McInnes having a moan after being on the receiving end of a defeat by Celtic.
Del was close to tears in his post match interview and tried to shift the focus onto the officials for his sides defeat. As usual he failed to even give Celtic any credit despite us being worthy winners, with only our wastefulness in front of goal keeping the scoreline respectful on his sides behalf.
The particular incident that aggrieved Del was one just before our winning goal. It was a decision that the referee clearly got spot on as the Killie player clearly fouled Auston Trusty inside the Celtic half, and as for his gripe about the free kick being taken from the wrong place, his side were well placed to defend the situation, so maybe he should be pointing the finger at his own players.

Del just hates giving Celtic any credit. He can’t stand being on the losing side against us whatever team he happens to manage. You’d think with the amount of times he’s seen his side humbled by Celtic he’d be well accustomed to it.
Del turned down theRangers job a few years ago, but he missed his true calling as he would have been a natural there due to his natural ability to deflect from his failings. Maybe in the near future we will get to see him inherit an extra book of excuses from Philippe Clement as he takes his place in the Ibrox hot seat…
Some comments about the Kilmarnock manager’s post match reaction are shown below…
“Derek McInnes Rages. In other news water is wet”…”Impossible Challenge: Derek McInnes losing to Celtic and not complaining about referee decisions”…”Derek McInnes never lost a game fairly to Celtic since time began, beautiful!”…”Derek McInnes tears are all the best kind”…”And not without Derek McInnes greeting again”…”McInnes upset after losing to Celtic again? He’s always gracious in defeat, our Derek”…”Has there ever been a Celtic goal Derek McInnes hasn’t raged over?”
