Tammy Abraham and Santiago Gimenez were both subbed off in yesterday’s clash between AC Milan and Fiorentina due to injuries. However, according to a report, only the Mexican international is a concern.

Abraham made way for Gimenez ten minutes into the second half after suffering a knock to his knee. Then, in the 79th minute, the Mexican had to leave the pitch as well after a heavy challenge with David De Gea, which left him in pain.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are not concerned about the condition of Abraham as the medical staff has cleared him to return to training immediately. The knock, as such, was only a knock that left him in discomfort for a short period of time.

Gimenez, on the other hand, will be monitored in the next few days as he’s still experiencing pain. He certainly won’t be rushed back to training and it remains to be seen what the tests will say. Hopefully, he will be able to return shortly.

Abraham and Luka Jovic were the goalscorers for Milan last night, going from reserves to important players, so it’s not like the Rossoneri are missing out on tons of goals without Gimenez.
