Multiple outlets in Italy are reporting that Juventus have now reached a final agreement with Fiorentina over the transfer of Argentine winger and recent Copa America winner Nico Gonzalez.
The Bianconeri have agreed to bring Nico Gonzalez in on loan with an obligation to buy. Most outlets agree that the deal will cost Juventus a total of €38m. Sky Sport Italia explain that it will be a €8m fee to bring him in on loan for the season, with a €25m buy clause plus €5m in bonuses for a total of €38m.
That is not far off the €40m price tag that Fiorentina had originally been seeking.
Nico Gonzalez already agreed a package on personal terms with the Old Lady earlier this month, and is reportedly ready to sign off on a €3.5m per-year contract.
Nico joined Fiorentina in a €24.5m deal from Stuttgart in 2021 and has scored 38 goals in 125 appearances with the Tuscans since.
It is a busy end to the transfer window for Juventus, who are also still pursuing a deal with Atalanta for Teun Koopmeiners, while reports on Friday claimed the club are still exploring a possible deal for Francisco Conceicao, but that deal could only happen if Porto open up to an initial loan deal.
Juventus will also be back in Serie A action on Monday night, facing Hellas Verona away, kicking off at 19.45 BST.
