The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at women’s football.
This week Angelina Kelly is joined by Manchester United Women’s Supporters Club founder Natalie Burrell and Alejandro Diago.
First up and the panel discuss last week’s Champions League fixtures including Arsenal’s loss to Barcelona and Chelsea’s 3-3 draw with Wolfsburg as the panel discuss if Emma Hayes should be concerned about her teams defensive errors.
The panel then discuss what was a dramatic derby day in Manchester as Manchester United drew 2-2 with rivals Manchester City. With one manager probably feeling relieved and another one feeling frustrated, what positives can each side take away from the result?
Over in Spain and Real Madrid celebrated their first league win and elsewhere Barcelona claimed a 3-0 victory over Atlético Madrid. With the Catalan side still unbeaten, can anybody stop the Primera División champions?
Meanwhile in Italy the panel discuss the recent success of Sassuolo in Serie A as thanks to some good football and smart signings they remain unbeaten in the league.
And finally, with the Ballon d’Or shortlist announced, the panel discuss who they would like to see win the award, which players are missing from the shortlist and why there was such a lack of player from the USA in the list of nominees.
