Chelsea are preparing to travel away to lock horns with Brighton in the Premier League this weekend. The former side faced a 2-0 defeat against the same side in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Hence, they will be in a mood to avenge that loss.
The Blues are fourth on the league points table with 43 points after 24 rounds of play. While they have negligible chances of winning the title, Enzo Maresca’s side would be hoping to keep their Champions League berth for next season.
Defence
Filip Jorgensen is likely to return between the sticks replacing Robert Sanchez for this fixture while Reece James comes into the XI at the cost of Malo Gusto for the right-back role.
Tosin Adarabioyo is retained in the middle of the defence but Trevoh Chalobah could be sacrificed to make way for Levi Colwill. Left-back Marc Cucurella didn’t showcase a good display but is expected to keep his position.

Midfield
No doubts that Enzo Fernandez should be walking back into the side to replace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The Argentine will have the company of Moises Caicedo in the middle of the park.
Attack
Don’t be surprised if Noni Madueke gets the nod ahead of Pedro Neto for the right flank role while the selection of Cole Palmer is certain. Jadon Sancho is providing his services from the left side of the pitch.
Christopher Nkunku leads the attacking line as Nicolas Jackson is not available for this fixture.
Wesley Fofana (hamstring), Benoit Badiashile (thigh), Romeo Lavia (muscle), Omari Kellyman (hamstring), Marc Guiu (groin), Mykhaylo Mudryk (ban), and Nicolas Jackson (hamstring) aren’t available for the selection.
