Tottenham, Manchester United and Rangers among teams looking to progress
The first phase of the Europa League comes to a close this week.
Both Manchester United and Tottenham can both seal their places in the last 16 on Thursday but first must avoid defeat in their final League phase fixtures.
Three points away at FCSB would be enough for United, although a draw could be enough should other results go their way.
Spurs, meanwhile, can ensure they avoid a play-off by beating Elfsborg.
Rangers are guaranteed a spot in the play-offs but a win against Union Saint-Gilloise could see them reach the top eight if other results go their way.
Like in the Champions League this season, the teams who finish in the top eight will reach the round of 16, which begins in March.
Teams who finish between ninth and 24th will have to contest a two-legged knockout round next month.
Those who finish between 25th and 36th will be eliminated from European competition entirely.
