Former Lazio defender Roberto Nestor Sensini discussed his time with the Biancocelesti in an interview with Chilean news outlet La Tercera earlier today.
First, he touched on his relationship with former Lazio forward Marcelo Salas.
He is a great person and a great scorer. We had a wonderful time at Lazio.
Sensini then moved onto discussing if Salas could have achieved more in his career if he hadn’t been injured whilst with Juventus.
Yes, but we can’t say that he didn’t do anything. The injury certainly affected his career, but he was a great player. He’s one of those strikers who never got nervous.
Sensini made 39 appearances across all competitions for Lazio in his one and a half seasons at the club, for a total of 2488 minutes.
In that time, he scored two goals and helped the club win four titles, the Scudetto, the UEFA Super Cup, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana.
