A strong second-half showing from Fernando Beltrán helped Chivas achieve a 2-0 win ‘away’ to Tijuana in eLiga MX.
It was a tight game until the 67th minute when Oribe Peralta beat the offside trap to open the scoring for the visitors.
Los Rojiblancos made the game safe 10 minutes later when Alexis Vega got on the end of an incisive through ball to double their lead.
Leandro González was the defeated player for Tijuana.
After losing two of their first four eLiga MX games, the Flock have recovered well and Sunday’s success marked their third win on the bounce.
They currently sit in 10th place in the table on 11 points.
Speaking after the game, Beltrán was unable to say if he would be taking the controller for Wednesday’s ‘home’ game against León.
The midfielder said FIFA Pro player Beto Ávila was the one who makes those decisions.
