The powers that be at La Liga outfit Getafe have identified Racing de Ferrol star Iker Losada as a leading target for the summer transfer window.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided the latest on developments behind the scenes at the Estadio Coliseum.
With little left to play for over the remaining weeks of the campaign, the Getafe board, it is understood, have already begun working towards adding to the playing squad at the club for next season.
And front and centre on the agenda in Madrid comes the aforementioned Iker Losada.
Attacker Losada, for his part, is in the midst of a fine term to date, in Spain’s 2nd tier.
All told, across 34 appearances in the colours of the aforementioned Racing de Ferrol, the 22-year-old has racked up a head-turning nine goals, and seven assists.
On the lookout for reinforcements out wide, Getafe, in turn, ‘have put his name on their agenda for next season’, as per MD.
It now remains to be seen whether or not the Azulones are willing to stump up the kind of figure set to be demanded by their counterparts at Racing for the club’s star performer.
