Getafe fans take aim at Barcelona ahead of La Liga clash | OneFootball

The home fans to have made their way to the stadium for Getafe’s meeting with Barcelona this evening have made use of the opportunity to take firm aim at the Blaugrana.

This comes owing to the recent ‘registration case’ in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona of course sparked widespread anger across the Spanish football landscape last week.

This came after the Blaugrana saw their appeal to court to register summer signings Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor for the 2nd half of the campaign bear fruit.

Considered special treatment on the part of many, a number of La Liga clubs subsequently released statements, making clear their dismay with the situation.

And, as alluded to above, on Saturday, such clubs have been backed up by the Getafe faithful.

Ahead of kick-off at the Estadio Coliseum, fans of the Azulones have taken to the streets in their numbers, to hold up anti-Barcelona banners, and chant:

“F**k Barça! Same game, different rules!”
