Hansi Flick pushing for Barcelona stars to have their own residence at club’s training ground | OneFootball

An interesting story surrounding the plans of Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for his players has on Thursday come to the fore online.

This comes amid confirmation that the German is leading a push behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital, for a new building to be constructed at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

As much would act as a home away from home for Barcelona’s players, their own special residence provided by the club.

The story comes courtesy of the reliable Catalunya Radio, who detail that:

‘Hansi Flick wants to accelerate the construction of a residence for the Barcelona first team in the sports city.’

Significantly, it is also noted that the project has already been given the green light to move ahead by way of the board of directors at the Camp Nou.

Construction, as a result, could well be kicked into gear in the near future, albeit dependent on Barcelona’s financial situation.
