Rangers maintained their good run of form with a comfortable victory at Ross County on Sunday.
Rangers beat St. Johnstone 1-0 away from home in the Scottish Premiership last weekend and hammered Kilmarnock 6-0 at Ibrox on Wednesday evening.
Rangers took on County at the Global Energy Stadium this afternoon and registered a 3-0 win.
Hamza Igamane was among the goalscorers. The 22-year-old forward scored in the sixth minute with a thunderous effort that was deflected over Jack Hamilton.
Igamane has been playing well for Rangers in recent weeks, and he was deployed on the left of an attacking midfield four in a 4-1-4-1 formation. He came off in the 80th minute.
Former Rangers star Derek Ferguson was following the match, and he was hugely impressed with the display produced by Igamane.
Kris Boyd was working on the match for Sky Sports, and the ex-Ibrox star thought the forward did well.
Ferguson told BBC Sportsound: “Igamane is a real breath of fresh air. The manager said he was trying to get him up to speed but he has been nothing short of brilliant in the last few games,
“He is off the cuff. He had three or four nutmegs this afternoon and took his goal brilliantly. I don’t know if you remember Ted McMinn, but Igamane’s got that unpredictability.”
Boyd said about Igamane on Sky Sports Football: “I thought he did reasonably well today. He took part in most of Rangers’ attacks.
“You would expect that from a forward player, but he drifts into these areas and drags defenders out and creates a little bit of space. He is always on the move.
“His link-up play, I thought, was tidy today. Sometimes, he can maybe come across as a little bit slack because it’s just the way he is.”
