Hebei China Fortune have announced the departure of manager Manuel Pellegrini.
This news correlates with rumours that Pellegrini is set to take over at West Ham this week following a series of talks.
Paulo Fonseca, Marco Silva and Claudio Ranieri were all linked with the job, but it seems that the Hammers hierarchy have come to an agreement with the Chilean.
“On May 20, 2018, Mr. Pellegrini will no longer serve as manager of Hebei China Fortune,” read a club statement.
“The club would like to express its sincerest gratitude to Mr. Pellegrini for his contributions to the team’s construction.
“We wish Mr. Pellegrini everything to go smoothly in his future work life!”
