"At the beginning, happy; now that I'm back, doubly happy, knowing that Summer Cup is just as important as the League, and so important that today we are starting a preseason where we can get to know each other better to help them with specific work, in specific moments of the match, and that relationship between coach and player can help us move towards a goal, towards a line to work on".

What aspects does he consider important to work on in this stage towards AP24?

"First, the approach and style of play, that's the starting point. Second, although we know that we are in a high demand because that's how Chivas is, the coaching staff: the same idea, the same objective, we are there for them, to help them. From the first day we are in great communication with them, we are getting to know each other to guide them with a great demand on and off the field.

"We want to help them with the style of play in terms of dynamics, intensity, attitude, so that they can understand it as one thing. We as a coaching staff have to serve them, support them and that we are all together in the idea of where we are going".

"I commented it from the beginning: the ways and forms have to change. We can win, draw or lose, but the ways of being on the court have to be at full capacity, we can't keep anything to ourselves because of the same internal competition. Now the incorporation of 'Majo', who also comes to add, is very important because she is an excellent person, we have understood each other very well with the entire coaching staff."

"The intention with the players is that every time they put on that shirt and have to play on any field, that they know the identity, that part of philosophy with work; on our part we will not slacken anything, we will not allow overconfidence or comfort, but on the contrary, it will be demand, dynamics and delivery in every game."

"The objective will be step by step, at times it will be complicated, but we will not let anyone lower their arms, with a lot of communication, with day-to-day work and that has to give us the security that by doing things well we will get the results."

María José López, the new Technical Assistant of the Chingonas, also spoke about her experience in this preseason, as well as what she hopes to contribute to her work group and to the team in general.

"I feel happy, glad to be in a new adventure where I want to grow and learn after being in Puebla for a long time. It is a great challenge for me as a person and as a professional that I want to take advantage of to continue evolving as a coach and to be someone better in the Liga Femenil and above all to help the talents of the future, which is what I have enjoyed the most."

"I had the chance to face some of them and also to be Damaris' teammate. It works because you know the situation they live inside the field, that their decisions are made in seconds and that makes me recognize that they do it in one way or another, but let them know the things they can improve for their growth".

"I really like the identity part, that they know who Chivas is, that we transmit it on the field. This is what I try to share: that union, teamwork, that we need everyone, that the team will contribute and that no one is more important than anyone else. I will be supporting, always with respect for the teacher, and always learning from him".
