Bayern Munich will be without four members of their usual starting eleven against Inter Milan, with another two in major doubt.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that all of Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, Hiroki Ito, and Aleksandar Pavlovic will miss the Champions League quarterfinal first leg.

Bayern Munich and Inter Milan face off in the Champions League this month.

The first leg of the quarterfinal tie is at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday.

And the tie could be the most important couple of matches for both teams’ seasons to date. Both have clear ambitions to reach the latter stages of the Champions League.

Therefore, both teams will be hoping to have a strong lineup available.

Inter certainly have injury issues of their own heading into the first leg. But for Bayern in particular, the absences are really piling up.

Bayern will be missing several key defenders for Wednesday’s clash with Inter.

That will leave Bayern coach Vincent Kompany with very few options in defense.

Then, midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic will also miss Wednesday’s match.

Meanwhile, there are two players who remain major doubts for Bayern. These are goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and winger Kingsley Coman.

There is, however, more positive news for Bayern, reports Tuttosport.
