Inter have actively started to lay the groundwork for some summer signings and recently lodged an inquiry for Olympique Marseille attacker Luis Henrique. While their management is high on him, a few other elite sides are keen. His price tag is rich, at least €30M, Sky reports.

The two sides are on good terms and have devised a few deals together, like Valentin Carboni and the Joaquin Correa ones. If the forward signed off on joining the Nerazzurri, It could be a partial swap.

Inter will have to tussle with Bayern Munich and other European clubs for Luis Henrique. He’s having a career season, as he has posted 9 goals and 7 assists in 29 appearances in domestic competitions.

Olympique Marseille had purchased him from Tres Passos after he showed flashes at Botafogo. His first couple of years in France didn’t go well. He headed back to Brazil to get his mojo back. He hit his stride this campaign after another so-so one. Roberto De Zerbi was instrumental for his improved performances.

Our Take on Inter and Luiz Henrique

They are getting serious in their search for a slippery attacker, which has been a need for a few years, and they are looking in the right places. They’ll probably be able to cook up something interesting with the Ligue 1 side unless another outfit tables a massive bid. On the other hand, the fact that they are casting a wide net means that they aren’t too confident about signing their other targets.
