Simone Inzaghi has reportedly changed his mind over which strikers he wants to field in the upcoming Serie A match between Inter and Monza on Saturday evening, as Lautaro Martinez and Marko Arnautovic now look set to start over Marcus Thuram, Joaquin Correa or Mehdi Taremi.

Reports on Friday claimed that Inzaghi was planning on resting Lautaro ahead of the Champions League second leg against Feyenoord on Tuesday, but the Argentine now looks set to start as usual against Monza on Saturday evening.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi tested a strike partnership of Thuram and Correa on Friday, but switched to Lautaro and Arnautovic during the final preparatory session on Saturday morning.

Inter will play against Monza on Saturday, Feyenoord on Tuesday, but given that the Nerazzurri already have a 2-0 advantage in the Champions League heading into the second leg at home, the biggest upcoming priority for Simone Inzaghi and his team is the Serie A match against Atalanta next weekend.

The Pink Paper suggests that the line-ups for the next two Inter matches will be decided upon with the Atalanta match in mind, as Inzaghi will want his strongest possible XI available for the clash against the third-placed Dea, who are only three points behind in the league standings.

Inter vs. Monza: Probable line-ups updates

Inter (3-5-2): J. Martinez; Pavard, De Vrij, Acerbi; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Bastoni; L. Martinez, Arnautovic.

Monza (3-5-2): Turati; D’Ambrosio, Izzo, Palacios; Birindelli, Urbanski, Bianco, Castrovilli, Kyriakopoulos; Keita, Mota.
