Ipswich Town go top of FA Women’s National League Southern Premier, Northern top two Nottingham Forest and Wolves draw 1-1.

Northern Premier Division

Burnley 2-3 Stoke City Liverpool Feds 2-0 Hull City (Att: 72) Nottingham Forest 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers (Att: 1.677)

Nottingham Forest were pegged back by Wolves in a 1-1 draw at the top of the table. Mel Johnson’s opener was cancelled out seconds after the interval by Charlotte Greengrass.

Burnley were unable to take advantage, the third-placed Clarets now only ahead of Stoke City on goal-difference after going down 3-2 at home to the Potters. Amelia Hazard gave the hosts the lead at the break, City levelled through Shannon Stamps and Millie Ravening then bagged a brace for them. Burnley’s hopes were further hit by Naomi Hartley’s straight red card, although Brenna McPartlan gave them a chance when netting 11 minutes from the end of the 90.

Liverpool Feds’ victory over Hull City put them within a point of Rugby Borough in fifth. Emma Johnson and Katie Anderson were the Feds scorers.

Southern Premier Division

Ipswich Town 2-1 Exeter City (Att: 939) Milton Keynes Dons P-P Watford Oxford United 1-0 Plymouth Argyle (Att: 246)

Ipswich Town took over at the top from Hashtag United on goal-difference and with two games in hand, after coming from behind to see off Exeter City 2-1. Sophie Gillies got the goal for the Grecians, Sophie Peskett equalised and Ella Rutherford hit an 86th-minute decider.

Oxford United edged Plymouth Argyle by a single goal to rise to third, Phoebie Poole scoring in only the fourth minute.

Division 1 North

AFC Fylde 1-1 Middlesbrough Chorley 3-2 Durham Cestria (Att: 72)

Bottom side Fylde picked up a precious point against title-chasing Middlesbrough but it was nearly all three. Demi Deveraux’s goal was cancelled out in added time by Jess Mett.

Chorley are within a point of Boro after defeating Durham Cestria 3-2 despite twice falling behind. Erin Brown got both goals for the visitors but they went down to a goal seven minutes from time.

Division 1 South East

Queens Park Rangers 1-3 London Bees

London Bees’ 3-1 victory at QPR came after conceding first and pushed them up into fourth spot. Grace Stanley’s goal for Rangers brought a reply before half-time from Shamoy Campbell, Millie Isherwood and Sam Lanza later netting one apiece.

Division 1 South West

Abingdon United 4-2 Portishead Town (Att: 67) Bournemouth Sports 1-3 Bristol Rovers (Att: 63) Southampton Women 1-0 Keynsham Town (Att: 75)

Bristol Rovers are a point behind fourth-placed Worthing with two games in hand after a 3-1 win at Bournemouth Sports. They were behind to a Katie Kingshott effort but Megan Jarvis scored either side of a Nia Rees goal.

Abingdon United won a relegation ‘six-pointer’ with Portishead Town 4-2, aided by a Molly Lygo double, to move into ninth position

Southampton Women won at the 17th attempt, beating mid-table Keynsham Town with a Chloe Ball goal.
