Lazio have extended their brilliant run against Napoli, beating Antonio Conte’s men for the second time in 72 hours.

Ideal Lineups

While Castellanos and Dia had a relatively quiet evening, Tijjani Noslin produced the goods once again shortly following his introduction. While he didn’t score a hat-trick this time, he provided the invaluable assist for Isaksen’s winner with an astonishing horizontal pass that sliced Napoli’s backline.

The Dane only had Mathias Olivera to beat, and he managed to create just enough space for the shot with some neat dribbling. And thanks to a slight deflection off the Uruguayan’s foot, Meret was beaten this time.

Invaluable Victory for Lazio

Lazio then managed to cling on to their slim lead to secure another famous victory at the Maradona. Baroni’s men have solidified their place in the table. Although they remain 5th, they’re only a couple of points away from the new league leaders Atalanta.
