Seven months after his retirement, Toni Kroos has announced his return to the playing field, news that has taken the football world by surprise. The footballer will play in the ‘Icon League‘.

Toni Kroos, with an enviable resume, left professional football last summer after being eliminated from the European Championship with Germany and lifting his fifth Champions League against Borussia Dortmund. Beyond the titles he has won, Toni Kroos has gone down in history as one of the best midfielders in football and has left a huge void in the midfield of Real Madrid, who have not yet been able to recover from the loss of the German footballer.
