Unlike most professions, and most other countries, Christmas is the busiest time of year for Premier League footballers.

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite sat down with Sky Sports to talk about it.

Despite the games coming thick and fast, he does still get to spend time with all of his family, which is a rarity given the schedule.

As for a present? A new pair of socks, of course.

Branthwaite has a had a mixed campaign to date, coming back from injury, but appears well-placed for a strong second half of the season, as might his club, following the confirmation of the Friedkin Group's takeover.
