Jesús Molina believes Chivas are on the up at the moment, and is so committed to the cause that he wants to finish his playing days as one of the Flock.
The 32-year-old midfielder has done the rounds in Liga MX, featuring for Tigres, América, Santos Laguna, and Monterrey before joining Los Rojiblancos at the start of 2019.
Despite his much-travelled career, the Mexico international insists he feels right at home at the Estadio Akron.
Addressing an Instagram Live on the club’s official account, the Chivas #20 said: “The truth is I long to be able to retire in Chivas.
“It is a great team in Liga MX. It fights to qualify and it continues to transcend, to overcome the hated rival – sportingly speaking – and I want to be part of the history of this Guadalajara.
“I know that this stage will be good. We are going to make history in this club.”
Chivas endured a difficult start to the 2020 Clausura, but had recovered to sit fifth in the table before the league was suspended in mid-March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
