Chivas supporters had their worst fears come to fruition on Monday as Chivas announced that Jesús Molina will be out for the rest of the season and a significant portion of next season.
The Guadalajaran side released a medical report confirming that Molina indeed tore his ACL over the weekend.
“Jesús Molina presents a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee. In the next few days, he will be operated on.
“His prognosis for returning to competition is 7-9 months.”
Molina was injured in Tapatío’s friendly against MLS outfit Atlanta United.
