Jules Koundé reveals how he teaches Barcelona teammate Lamine, and vice versa | OneFootball

Barcelona star Jules Koundé has provided an insight into the ways in which he and Lamine Yamal aid each other’s efforts when on the pitch.

Koundé and Lamine have of course struck up a stellar partnership down Barcelona’s right over the last two seasons.

Both stand as absolutely crucial figures in Hansi Flick’s first-choice XI, providing the perfect balance of attacking verve, and defensive nous.

And as much, it would appear, is no coincidence.

Speaking to the media whilst on international duty this week, Koundé was drawn on the evolving parternship between he and Lamine.

And, in quotes gathered by Mundo Deportivo, the Frenchman went on to provide an altogether interesting insight into the on-pitch relationship between he and his young teammate:

“We talk to find out how I can improve certain aspects, like the runs that can open up space for (Lamine), even though he can handle two players on him. We’re quite complementary. Defensively, I talk a lot with him to correct certain details about his positioning.”
