A quickfire double from Randal Kolo Muani and late goals from Dusan Vlahović and Francisco Conceição were enough to see Juventus beat Empoli 4-1 in Sunday's early kick off.

With pressure building on coach Thiago Motta, Juve came into the game praying to avoid yet another draw.

The coach named new signing Renato Veiga from the start whilst Empoli were looking over their shoulder, just one point above the relegation places.

And it was the visitors who took the lead inside four minutes as loanee Mattia De Sciglio headed in from a corner against his parent club.

Empoli thought they had the chance to double their lead soon after but VAR eventually ruled out their initial penalty.

Into the second half and it took until the hour mark for Juve to get back on level terms as Randal Kolo Muani charged into the area and fired home.

The France international then doubled his tally just a few moments later as he deflected a shot into the bottom corner.

Things were made even more difficult for Empoli late on as Youssef Maleh was sent off for a second bookable offence.

The Bianconeri then wrapped things up in the dying minutes as Dusan Vlahović and Francisco Conceição struck to put some gloss on the scoreline.
