La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao will likely leave Milan in the summer following disappointing performances this season.

Milan are expected to change the team massively in 2025-26, especially if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Maignan has agreed to extend his contract to 2029, but according to the report, this won’t guarantee his stay. The French keeper made crucial errors in games against Feyenoord and Torino and according to Gazzetta, his sale is on the cards despite a new deal being done and sealed.

As for Theo, Gazzetta confirms he won’t be handed a new contract, with Milan eager to listen to offers in the summer or let him leave for free in 2026.

Leao has a €175m clause in his contract, but his ups and downs this season mean no club is currently willing to match the fee.

‘Not many would bet on his Milan stay, perhaps not even him,’ concluded Gazzetta.
