Leeds fell out of the automatic promotion spots in the Championship after being held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Luton at Kenilworth Road.

Daniel James bagged a brilliant equaliser to level things up after Isaiah Jones’ early strike, but despite plenty of effort, Leeds couldn’t find a winner and fell to third in the table.

Jaidon Anthony's brace helped Burnley edge out Coventry City 2-1 and leapfrog into the top spot in the Championship.

The 25-year-old winger scored either side of half-time, were enough to secure the three points, which cancelled out Haji Wright’s fifth-minute opener, and stretched Burnley’s incredible unbeaten run to 27 games.

Burnley will stay top unless Sheffield United manage to beat Oxford United.

Elsewhere, Trai Hume bagged the winner for Sunderland for the second game in a row, as they kept their hopes of automatic promotion alive with a hard-fought 1-0 win over play-off chasers West Bromwich Albion.
