Ruud van Nistelrooy isn't exactly hanging on by a thread at Leicester City Football Club. It is merely said that the organisation is so poorly run that the Foxes reportedly can't actually sack the Dutchman. He's safe, even though he's out of his depth and taking us down without even a whimper. That's because appointing a different manager at this stage of the season would cost money. A lot of money. But funds aren't even available to do that on Filbert Way.
We can most likely point to Profit and Sustainability issues for that. More precisely, the LCFC hierarchy's repeated failure to adhere to rules set out by the Premier League may well be at fault. What an absolutely shambolic mess this all really is at King Power Stadium. At least Leicester chairman Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha and director of football Jon Rudkin should have the apparent sense to discard Van Nistelrooy.
RvN's exit is apparently impending, thankfully. The former standout Manchester United player won't be in charge of City in the Championship, it is claimed. There is, at least, one thing LCFC's Blue Army fan base can be grateful for! I think it's time to look forward if you happen to be a Fox like myself. Therefore these stories claiming Leicester's board is currently considering two ex-EPL bosses is worth a look.
Most outfits would have already rid themselves of van Nistelrooy by now. His time at City has been pitiful. Yet Leicester aren't most clubs! According to a report from the weekend, we'll have to wait until we sink to the Championship for RvN to leave.
