Liverpool defender Grace Fisk has signed a contract extension with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Reds this morning.

The 27-year-old centre-back is now in her second season on Merseyside after joining Liverpool from West Ham United in summer 2023. Fisk has made 35 appearances for The Reds in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she has scored one goal. The defender was a member of the Liverpool side that recorded a fourth-place finish in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League.

Fisk is hugely important to the Liverpool back-line and the club have therefore tied her down for an extended period.

After signing on again with The Reds, Fisk said “I’ve really been happy during my time at Liverpool so far and I’m happy to accept.

“I still can’t believe it’s only my second year here as it definitely feels like so much longer. It was a pretty easy decision for me in the end because I’ve loved my time here so far and look forward to the future.

“We have such a good group of players which again is a big part in why I wanted to stay because we do have such a good group and quality of players here.

“This year hasn’t been what we hoped bouncing off last season, but we want to build on that and we know we have the quality and the potential so as a club we just hope we can keep improving.”

Fisk will be hoping to continue to impress for Liverpool whilst pushing claims for an England call-up in the coming months.
