Liverpool predicted lineup vs Fulham - Premier League

Arne Slot must've been thrilled to get Wednesday's Merseyside Derby out of the way in Liverpool's quest to claim their second Premier League title.

David Moyes' Everton were once again pesky opponents for the Reds, who survived a nervy first half and eventually created the sole moment which was required to claim all three points.

The title is now just a few wins away, but another potential banana skin is on the horizon. Fulham have lost back-to-back games, but they've proven themselves to be stubborn opponents this term. They even claimed a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture back in December, although Liverpool played much of the contest with ten men.

The Reds only have to league to think about down the stretch, and here's how they could line up on Sunday afternoon.

GK: Alisson - The Brazilian goalkeeper will be assessed ahead of Sunday's game after missing the derby due to a concussion. Enough time may have passed to facilitate Alisson's return.

RB: Conor Bradley - Slot confirmed that the right-back will be assessed again after missing Wednesday's win, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him come straight back into the XI if he passes a late fitness test.

CB: Ibrahima Konate - Konate struggled in midweek, but Slot is unlikely to utilise Jarell Quansah in west London. Joe Gomez is out injured.

CB: Virgil van Dijk - Van Dijk, like his centre-back partner, had issues struggling to contain Beto last time out, and the Dutchman will be tasked with shunning the canny Raul Jimenez on Sunday.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas - There could be rotation at left-back, with Andy Robertson dropping out of the team. Tsimikas has been used sparingly by Slot this season.

CM: Ryan Gravenberch - Gravenberch helped drive the Reds forward in Wednesday's derby, testing Jordan Pickford from distance once or twice. He's rarely dropped out of the XI this season, and he's a shoo-in for Sunday's game.

CM: Alexis Mac Aliister - The Argentine survived James Tarkowski's naughty challenge which somehow didn't warrant a red card to play the entirety of the derby. Slot could use Curtis Jones in the pivot, but Mac Allister has been integral.

RM: Mohamed Salah - The winger drew a blank on Wednesday but he doesn't have much to fear on the Golden Boot front given that Erling Haaland will miss the next few weeks with an ankle injury.

AM: Dominik Szoboszlai - The indefatigable Hungarian has been utterly relentless this season, and he got another 90 minutes under his belt in midweek. Liverpool have no alternative who can offer what Szoboszlai provides in the engine room.

LM: Cody Gakpo - It's been a subdued few weeks for Gakpo after returning from injury, but Slot could rotate out wide at Craven Cottage with the Dutchman replacing Luis Diaz.

ST: Diogo Jota - Slot's faith in Jota was finally rewarded in the derby as he broke his lengthy scoring duck. While Darwin Nunez is fit and available, Jota, who scored on this ground last season, will surely continue in the side.
