Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal loanee Reiss Nelson has parted ways with loan club Fulham for the time being, returning to north London to work on his injury recovery at the Arsenal Training Centre.
Romano adds that Nelson is surely leaving Arsenal again in the summer transfer window, but for the time being, he’s back with his parent club.
Nelson is working on his recovery from hamstring surgery, so it makes sense that he chosen to do so with Arsenal. The Gunners have a lot of experience of the rehabilitation process after these surgeries, with multiple first-team players suffering the same injury this season.

On top of that, Fulham are also unlikely to get anything more out of Nelson on the pitch this season.
Marco Silva confirmed in February that Nelson could be out until the end of the season, and that doesn’t seem to have changed.
“It’s a big blow for us, definitely,” Silva said. “He was really unlucky with these two injures in a short period of time, and long-term injures, unfortunately for him.
“When he was ready and was there, you can feel his quality, and you can see that he’s a player that fits really well, understood well what we need from him.
“Very good guy, good lad, and another one that makes our dressing room be at the level that I like to see, and the environment and the friendship that’s inside.”

Nelson had made 12 appearances for Fulham before his first injury, scoring two goals and assisting one more. He’d just been handed a run in the team when he got injured, starting five Premier League games in a row.
