Inter Miami secure another win against Chicago Fire. They traveled to Illinois and returned with a scoreboard of 4-1 in favor of Miami. Once again, Luis Suarez had an outstanding performance during the game, scoring two of the four goals for the Herons.
With his current goals, Suarez is in fourth place on the Major League Soccer top scorers table. In the first ten positions, the only Inter Miami player in that list is the Uruguayan striker.
Luis Suarez is one goal away from breaking Gonzalo Higuain's record for the most goals in a single season for Inter Miami in the MLS. Let's remember that last week Suarez broke the record for most goals in a single season for Inter Miami, but taking into account every competition.
This time is different. This time, Suarez will surpass him also in the MLS. Writing about these records makes me laugh when I remember the media critics talking badly about him. About his knees, his age, his retirement. Suarez will prove you wrong.
Cristian Arango from Real Salt Lake is leading with 17 goals, followed closely by the football legend of the English leagues, Christian Benteke from DC United, also with 17 goals. Behind these players, we found Luis Suarez and Denis Bouanga, both with 16 goals.
Completing the top five goal scorers of the MLS, we have Peter Musa from Dallas FC with 14 goals.
