Last summer, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Dean Huijsen as they sought to strengthen their defense, but the Spanish center-back ultimately joined AFC Bournemouth. If PSG targets him again, they’ll face stiff competition.
PSG added Willian Pacho to their backline, but with Milan Škriniar likely to make his loan move to Fenerbahçe permanent, the club could still be in the market for another center-back this summer.
Huijsen has continued to impress in England with steady performances in the Premier League, earning widespread praise. His strong form has caught the attention of several top clubs.
As a transfer battle brews for the young defender, one club that seems poised to make a serious push is Liverpool.

Manchester City have reportedly entered the race to sign Dean Huijsen this summer, according to GiveMeSport (h/t AS). The 19-year-old Spanish Under-21 international, considered one of Europe’s top center-back prospects, will have his release clause activated next summer.
He’s been impressing under Andoni Iraola, and several European clubs are interested in securing his services. CaughtOffside previously reported, citing sources, that Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all tracking Huijsen.
The 19-year-old has a release clause of around £50 million, but that figure could rise if he signs a new contract with Bournemouth.
