Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of Manchester United’s squad for last Sunday’s derby has sparked speculation about both players’ futures at the club.

Despite their absence, United managed to secure a thrilling 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the latest Manchester Derby.

After Josko Gvardiol’s first-half header gave City the lead, United staged a dramatic comeback with two late goals. Bruno Fernandes equalized with an 88th-minute penalty, and Amad Diallo sealed the win in the 90th minute, rounding Éderson to score.

The Argentine hasn’t been as standout this season compared to last, with just three goals and one assist so far. After being left out of the lineup against City, reports suggest he’s attracting interest from five top European clubs.

Could Alejandro Garnacho be on the market?

According to the Daily Mail (h/t The Mirror), Garnacho is no longer considered “untouchable” at Manchester United, with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona reportedly interested in signing him.

The report suggests that while his exit isn’t guaranteed, United may be open to offers, but any interested club would need to offer at least £70 million to entice them.

European outlets believe that United could be willing to sell Garnacho if the price is right, seeing him as a homegrown talent who could generate a substantial profit.
