Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly exploring ways to bolster their attack in 2025, with Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres emerging as a potential target. The latest reports indicate that two clubs are vying for the Swedish striker, but one faces a significant challenge.
Foot Mercato revealed that PSG’s sporting advisor, Luís Campos, has shown interest in Gyökeres and has already begun talks with his representatives. However, head coach Luis Enrique is said to have some reservations about the move.
Meanwhile, SPORT reports that Barcelona are considering a €70 million bid for Gyökeres, potentially including a clause to keep him on loan at Sporting for another season.

The Mirror reports that Manchester United are set to make a move for Viktor Gyökeres this month as they look to salvage their season.
The Red Devils aren’t the only Premier League club keen on the Swedish standout. CaughtOffside recently claimed that Newcastle could target Gyökeres if Alexander Isak departs, though such a move is unlikely to materialize in the January transfer window.
Football Transfers reported last month that Arsenal are still in contact with Gyökeres as the Sweden international eyes a move in the 2025 summer transfer window. Sporting are expected to sell the 26-year-old for around €65 million, with Newcastle United emerging as rivals to the Gunners in the race for his signature.
