Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on Hugo Ekitike’s potential move to Eintracht Frankfurt, thanks to a 20 percent sell-on clause that could bring them a financial boost if the deal happens.
Newcastle remain interested in Ekitike as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak. They had previously targeted him during his time at PSG, and according to CaughtOffside, another Premier League club is also in the mix for the 22-year-old forward.
Manchester United are reportedly in the race as well. As Football Insider noted, United have been tracking Ekitike’s progress at Eintracht Frankfurt this season while scouting options for a new No. 9 ahead of the summer window.

Liverpool’s interest in signing Ekitike this summer is growing, especially as their pursuit of top target Isak looks less likely to pan out.
According to the Daily Mail’s Lewis Steele, the 6-foot-3 striker has now become the player the Reds are “most interested in” ahead of the transfer window. In a Q&A for the Mail, Steele responded:
“Hugo Ekitike is the name that pops up the most when I speak to people, so I think it is fair to say he is one to keep a close eye on.”
“The France Under 21 star has scored 19 goals and made eight assists for Eintracht Frankfurt this season and ticks a lot of boxes in terms of his age profile and experience – he is playing every week in a top league and has European experience, too.”
According to a recent report from CaughtOffside, Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Hugo Ekitike as they look to bolster their attacking options. Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly put an €80 million price tag on the French striker, with Arsenal also considering a potential move.
