Manchester United could reportedly sign Juventus superstar Dusan Vlahovic for a cut-price fee.
Vlahovic is regarded as one of the best number nines in Europe, owing to his killer instincts in front of the net, strong physical presence, and impressive movement in and around the penalty area.
Juventus are enduring a difficult season under Thiago Motta but that hasn’t put brakes on the Serbian striker, who has 14 goals and two assists to his name in all competitions this season.
However, the Old Lady are considering parting ways with their talisman due to his contractual situation.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Juventus have “turned their attentions towards” selling Vlahovic after failing to convince him to sign a new contract.
The 25-year-old is close to entering the final 12 months of his deal in Turin and now there are fears that Juve may lose him for nothing at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
United are understood to be among the clubs interested in Vlahovic and it is suggested that Ruben Amorim and influential figures at Old Trafford will consider signing the Juventus star for a cut-price fee.
It is added that United “could sign Vlahovic for a shockingly low fee during the summer.”
The Serie A outfit are hoping to raise around £35 million from the sale of the Serbia international, who joined them for a fee in the region of £65m from Fiorentina in 2022.
However, a bid as low as £25million “could be enough to get the deal over the line” as Juventus supposedly panic over his dwindling contract, which sees him take home close to £315,000-per-week.
Juve’s softened stance should appeal to United, who are in desperate need of a reliable goalscorer, with both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggling to put the ball into the back of the net on a regular basis.
In recent days, United have also been linked with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Samu Aghehowa.
