Manchester United travel to Romania to take on FCSB in their final fixture of the Europa League’s league phase.
Ruben Amorim’s team remain unbeaten in Europe this season and will confirm their passage to the Round of 16 with a win this evening.
Bruno Fernandes scored a stoppage-time winner to beat Rangers last week and extend the club’s winning run in this competition to four games. A 1-0 win at Fulham at the weekend then continued momentum in the Premier League.
Their opponents this evening are also in the top eight and looking to qualify automatically for the last 16. FCSB have lost just once in their seven Europa League games this season, a 4-0 defeat at Rangers in October.
Luke Shaw has returned to training at Manchester United in a big boost to Ruben Amorim. However, the left-back is not ready to return and has not made the trip to Romania.
Marcus Rashford’s exile from the first-team squad continues as the forward seeks an exit from Old Trafford before the transfer deadline. Elsewhere, Manuel Ugarte has recovered from the knock he sustained at the weekend but could be rested this evening.
Amorim has an almost full-strength squad to choose from with Victor Lindelof also in contention. Mason Mount and Jonny Evans are the absentees with no return date set for either player.
Manchester United predicted XI: Bayindir; Mazraoui, Yoro, De Ligt, Lindelof, Malacia; Eriksen, Mainoo; Fernandes, Amad, Zirkzee
