Manor Solomon has scored in the last two Sky Bet Championship matches for Leeds United, helping the team to victories over Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City.

With the Whites travelling to face Burnley away from home on Monday, the winger his hoping the fine form continues, reflecting on his recent performances, most recently the win over the Canaries at Elland Road.

“I'm feeling good. Every time you score or assist and you take the three points, you're happy,” Solomon stated.

“To be honest, we're really happy with the three points today [against Norwich]. It was the most important thing.

“I think our performance was not the best, but we kept a clean sheet, we scored the goals and we took the three points and we're happy.”

Solomon has been linking up regularly with Dan James on the opposite wing. In their last outing, both players provided a goal and assist each, reversing their roles on each occasion.

Manor explained: “When DJ plays, I know that I have to be switched on to these balls.

“It's something that we work on, it's something that I'm always aware of.

“When the ball is on the other flank I know that I need to be inside because DJ is really fast and he knows how to give these balls.

“So yeah, I'm happy I was switched on and it was a great delivery by Dan and we opened the game really well.”

Next up, the Whites travel to Turf Moor to take on a similarly in-form Burnley side. Ahead of the game, Solomon stated that he is looking forward to facing the Clarets, but also that it is just another opportunity to get points on the board.

“Of course, we have a really big game on Monday, but each and every game is a bigger game for us,” our winger said, previewing the match.

“When you play Burnley away, they are one of the contenders to win the league or to get promoted, so it's even a bigger game, but three points is three points.

“Today it was three points, we took them, and we want to do it away in Burnley.”
