Brentford's impressive unbeaten run came to a halt in their last fixture earlier this week, but the Bees will hope they can quickly return to winning ways against tomorrow's opponents.
Brentford Under-21s suffered their first defeat in 13 league games as they were beaten 3-0 by Millwall Under-21s at The Den on Tuesday.
A slow start to the first half saw Millwall take control and go two goals ahead. An improved performance in the second half could not overturn the deficit, with the home side adding a third.
Head coach Neil MacFarlane, looking ahead to the Birmingham fixture, said: "It is clear that we want a reaction from the boys. We did not play to our high standards against Millwall and we want to rectify that at home in front of our fans.
"It is important that the players get themselves ready for what will be a tough test."
Birmingham City are currently bottom of the Professional Development League North section with four wins, three draws and 11 losses. However, they have three games in hand over the team directly above them in the table.
The young Blues are in search of their first league win in three games as they head down to west London, with their last victory being a 2-0 win against Coventry City Under-21s in January.
