Mexican giants Club León have been kicked out of this summer's Club World Cup.
A statement from FIFA on Friday confirmed that the Guanajuato-based side will not participate in the end of season extravaganza after they failed to adhere to tournament's multi-club ruling.
León and Pachuca - both of whom were set to play in the USA this summer - are owned by the Grupo Pachuca ownership structure and as such have fallen foul of FIFA's Disciplinary Committee.
León were due to play Chelsea, Esperance, and Flamengo in the group stage.
A replacement for the Mexican side will be named in due course.
