Milan have an agreement in place with Dutch teenager Silvano Vos and are now discussing the final details of a permanent transfer with his current club, Ajax, according to Wednesday’s reports.
Milan and the player’s agent have shook hands over a four-year deal with the option for a fifth, according to updates from Calciomercto.com.
Now, Paulo Fonseca’s team must finalise a price with Ajax, who are reportedly seeking a fee in the region of €9m-€10m.
The Rossoneri are hoping for a slight discount on that price, and if they are prepared to pounce once they have convinced Ajax to lower the fee.
A highly-rated defensive midfielder, who has also played at centre-back in his youth days, Vos has 14 Eredivisie appearances with the Ajax first team and is an U19 international for the Netherlands.
If the deal does go through, Vos is expected to be a member of the Rossoneri first team squad, but is also likely to gain match experience with Milan Futuro.
