Sergio Conceicao replaced Paulo Fonseca at the helm of AC Milan just before the new year and since then, it has been a ride with ups and downs. As part of failing to find the crucial consistency, the manager has also used many players.
As highlighted by MilanNews this morning, the manager has never fielded the same starting XI two games in a row. Although there have been injuries and suspensions, you would have expected him to have done it at least once in the 16 games played.
Having said that, there have been a few certainties in Conceicao’s Milan so far, with the likes of Mike Maignan, Tijjani Reijnderds and Theo Hernandez playing all 16 games from start. Youssouf Fofana and Yunus Musah, meanwhile, played 13 of them from start.
For tomorrow’s game against Lazio, one change is expected as Christian Pulisic should replace Joao Felix from start. In other words, we won’t get to see the same XI this time either but truth be told, most fans only care about the outcome of the game at this point.
