As reported by L’Équipe, Monaco are interested in making a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sánchez before the end of the transfer window.
The Ligue 1 club are strongly considering making an offer for the 27-year-old defender in the next few days but remain one of several teams tracking the Colombian defender. However, Monaco lead the race as it stands. With the former Ajax man down to the last year of his contract in London, the sports daily suggests a move is only a matter of time.
Galatasaray have already seen an offer of €10m rejected by Spurs, while Spartak Moscow submitted a bid of €15m plus bonuses for the player. Fellow French side Strasbourg, now backed by Chelsea, are also interested in a move for Sanchez this summer.
Sanchez has, so far, made 206 appearances in all competitions for Spurs since moving to the Premier League in 2017, scoring five times in that period.
