Montpellier’s Arnaud Nordin attracting MLS interest | OneFootball

Arnaud Nordin (26) is currently in the midst of a relegation scrap with Montpellier HSC. La Paillade are currently rock bottom of Ligue 1 and if they are to make the drop to the second division, Nordin may not be going with them.

He may leave regardless, as Mohamed Toubache-Ter reports. Nordin has played 12 times for Montpellier this season, scoring four goals. Given that MHSC have only scored 13 in the league, that is almost a third of the team’s entire tally. He has been indispensable for the club and he will be key in MHSC are to avoid the drop.

However, his future is up in the air. As reported by Toubache-Ter, the winger’s contract expires at the end of the season and talks over a renewal have hit a brick wall. It is within this context that Toubache-Ter understands that Bundesliga and MLS sides are showing an interest in signing Nordin on a free transfer.
