Former Roma player Hidetoshi Nakata looked back on his spell in the Italian capital in an interview with The Athletic.

The Japanese player spoke about the 2001 Scudetto, where he proved decisive in the match against Juventus.

“When I arrived in Italy, the Italian league was the best in the world, there were players like Zidane and Del Piero, but I didn’t know many of them.”
