Napoli still haven’t found a long-term replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after the Georgian winger left the club during the winter transfer window. One name they’ve reportedly shown interest in is Alejandro Garnacho.

According to Chris Wheeler of The Daily Mail, Manchester United is monitoring Victor Osimhen, and a potential deal could involve Garnacho heading the other way.

Journalist Laurie Whitwell also noted last month that United haven’t ruled out the idea of including Garnacho in a move for Osimhen.

Speaking on the Inside United podcast, Whitwell added that the club are very keen on bringing Osimhen to Old Trafford — and with Napoli’s previous interest in Garnacho, a swap deal could be on the table.

According to Calciomercato, Napoli remain determined to sign Garnacho this summer after their January bid for the Manchester United winger was turned down.

If Napoli see Garnacho as a potential replacement for Kvaratskhelia, they’ve received some recent encouragement.

Il Mattino recently reported that Manchester United have accepted they’re unlikely to sell Garnacho for £60 million and have dropped their asking price to £40 million. Napoli and Chelsea are still tracking the winger.
